Copaxone® is a prescription medicine that is approved for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). By decreasing nerve damage, the drug can help reduce MS relapses and lesions. Copaxone is given by subcutaneous injection (just under the skin) once daily. Side effects that have been reported with Copaxone include injection site reactions, flushing or hot flashes, weakness, and joint pain.
