Multiple Sclerosis? Multiple schlerosis is a common misspelling of multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects the transmission of nerve impulses in the central nervous system, possibly rendering a person unable to speak, write, or walk. Approximately 250,000 to 350,000 people in the United States are currently diagnosed with this condition. In some cases, a healthcare provider can diagnose multiple sclerosis as soon after the illness begins, while in others, it may be difficult to diagnose (as symptoms may mysteriously come and go).
