Crohn's Disease and Tysabri

People who have not adequately responded to other treatments for multiple sclerosis or Crohn's disease may benefit from Tysabri® (natalizumab). This medication is available by prescription and is only approved for use in adults age 18 and older.

When used to treat moderate-to-severe cases of Crohn's disease, Tysabri can help reduce the signs and symptoms of the disease, such as:

  • Abdominal (stomach) pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue.

Although this medication can help relieve symptoms, Tysabri is not a cure for Crohn's disease.
